I am a student of the 8th Batch of the Department of Journalism and Media Studies. I am extremely fortunate and honored to be a part of the department. I am currently working as a Newsroom Editor at Channel i . Wherever I go and meet people, I frankly and boldly express that I am a student of the journalism department at MIU. The university provides quality education with a very affordable cost which is exceptional in comparison to other universities. The teachers of the department are extremely helpful and the students are very friendly and caring. Good wishes for the department always!

I am Ishaba Tasnim, student of the 6th Batch of the Department of Journalism and Media Studies of Manarat International University. It is my great pleasure to express something about the department and university. I feel proud to be a part the department and university. I believe the teachers of the department and the environment of the university are unique in many aspects. There is a unique combination of academic and ethical education here which is quite necessary in the current times. The teachers of the department are friendly, energetic and helpful. I completed my internship at United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and currently, I am at Somoy Digital of Somoy Television as Junior Executive. The academic and practical knowledge gained from the department helped me immensely to become successful in the job sector.

Views exchange program between the Editor of the Daily Purbokone, a historical and renowned newspaper of Chittagong, and the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the conference room of the newspaper. The program was held during a five-day long tour in Cox’s Bazar.
Visiting the printing section of a newspaper as part of academic tasks. It is a regular activity of the department.
The biggest successful program of the Media Club was a photography exhibition and workshop. The club organized a two-day long photography exhibition and a day-long workshop encompassing both the Gulshan and Ashulia Permanent Campuses of MIU on March 18 & 19, 2019. It was the largest photography exhibition in the history of MIU.
